In the Response panel, consider what God is saying to you through this passage and decide how you will respond. Write out your Response as a two or three sentence prayer.
Be heartfelt and honest with God. If needed, put “training wheels” on your Response: “Lord help me want this thing You value.” Better to be honest and ask for help, than promise behavior you are not ready to keep.
